A right triangle has side lengths d, e, and f. Use these lengths to find tan x, cos x, and sin x.

If you could explain too that would very helpful.

let's assign the triangles side

d
| \
| \
| \
| \
f|___\e
let's take angle x at e and then the trigonometric functions will be

sin x=opposite/ hyp
=df/de

cos x=adj/hyp
=ef/de

tan x=opp/adj or sin/cos
=df/ef =df/de÷ef/de
=df/ef
