find the ratio of 20 yards compared to 50 yards:
20/50 = 2/5
this means it would take 2/5 of the time to fly 20 yards
multiply 3/2 seconds by 2/5
3/2 * 2/5 = 6/10 = 3/5 of a second to fly 20 yards
