Note that the interior angles of a triangle always sum up to 180 degrees. Adding together 118 and 22 degrees, we get 140 degrees, meaning that the third angle (C) is 180 - 140, or 40, degrees.

Now apply the Law of Sines to find the length of side AC:

24 |AC| 24 sin 22
----------- = ------------- From this we get |AC| = -------------
sin 40 sin 22 sin 40
