The answer is 754 ft^2
Solution:
Given:
Area of canvas = total area of the cone = π r ( r + s )r =radius s = slant height
the base = 20 feet across
diameter = 2 r = 20r = 20/2 = 10
and
s = 14
Area = 10 * 3.14 ( 10 + 14 )
= 753.6
≈
754

Area of canvas = total area of the cone = π r ( r + s )
r ⇒⇒⇒ radius
s ⇒⇒⇒ slant height
the base has 20 feet across ⇒⇒ diameter = 2 r = 20
r = 20/2 = 10 and s = 14
Area = 10 * 3.14 ( 10 + 14 ) = 753.6 ≈ 754
The correct answer is the third
