The answer to your question would be 20°.
If the measurements are : 4 and angle 8
the equation would be:

3x=x+402x=40x=40/2x=20
We can conclude that the measure of angle of is 20°

Remember that vertical angles are pairs of opposite angles made by two intersecting lines. Since vertical angles are congruent, we can equate the measures of angle 4 and angle 8 and solve for
x:

3x=x+40

2x=40

x= (40)/(2)

x=20

We can conclude that the measure of angle of is 20°
