we have that
p + 1 ⁄ (q + (1 / r)) = 129/31

we know that
129/31----------> is equal to (4+5/31)
(4+5/31)------> 4+1/31/5
4+1/31/5----> 4+1/(5+(1/6))
By comparing
p=4
q=5
r=6
so
p+q+r-----> 4+5+6----> 15

the answer is the option
A. 15
