There a lot of benefits especially relating to geological careers, and such researches like when we run out of coal or gas, what are some available natural solutions to overcome that situation etc.

Fossils offer one of the best ways for scientists to study the history of the Earth and nature. The locations of fossils within the layers of rock help us understand the age and development of living things long ago. Fossils also help us understand how the Earth's environment has changed over long periods of time.
