In 2016 Washington Post article, it was written that while the subject is popular, parents and teachers still don't understand ADHD. Ned Hallowell, ADHD expert claims that it is not a disorder, but rather a trait. If managed correctly, one can turn it into success. People with ADHD can super-focus on when they are interested or they can easily lose interest. People with ADHD are creative; they are visionaries, dreamers and inventors.
There is no definitive test for ADHD. The best treatment is education. And it has to be diagnosed. Otherwise, it will ruin the life of the person with the condition.
