The diagnostic term "in/continent" literally means Not contained and is seen with the lack of control of the bladder and/or rectum. Incontinent is the inability to control excretions, to hold urine in the bladder, or to keep feces in the rectum. For example the urinary incontinence is a common and embarrassing problem that occurs more often as people get older.
