or


k=yx^3

Put x = 2 and y = 4 in above expression to find k.


k=4* (2)^3\\\\=32

Now put x = 4 to given equation to find y.


y=(32)/(4^3)

y = 0.5 or 1/2

So, the value of y is 0.5 when x = 4.
