Multiply the total amount of 2/3 cups by the portion size of 3/4.
= (2/3)(3/4)
multiply numerators; multiply denominators
= (2*3)/(3*4)
= 6/12
simplify by 6
= 1/2 cup
ANSWER: Rama should use 1/2 cup of butter.
Hope this helps! :)
