When a person consumes too much soda e.g. having more than two servings a day are consumed, he or she is like to develop kidney stones and other renal problems such as kidney failure because of its high phosphoric acid content.

Answer:

This would increase the formation of the NH3 buffer.

Step-by-step explanation:

This would increase the formation of the NH3 buffer. Since Pepsi has acid in it, it would cause the kidneys to reabsorb bicarbonate from the urine leading to an increase in the formation of the NH3 buffer.
