At first you would be in denial because you wouldn't believe what happened. You would then move on to anger because you would try to seek revenge. You would then bargain yourself instead of them if you could. depression because you lost someone who had a big impact on your life. Acceptance due to the fact that you know you can't bring them back to life.
This is if someone died btw.
