we have
1.234 in-----> 1+(0.234) in
we know that
1/64=0.015625
so
0.234/0.015625=14.98-----> 15
15/64-----> 0.234
therefore
1.234 in is equal to -----------> 1 15/64 in
the answer is
1 15/64 in
