we know that
[volume of a rectangular prism]=L*W*H
for
L=5 1/2 ft-----> (5*2+1)/2----> 11/2 ft
W=1 1/2 ft----> (1*2+1)/2----> 3/2 ft
H=2 ft
so
volume of the water in the tub=(11/2)*(3/2)*2---> 16.5 ft³
the answer is
the volume of the water in the tub is 16.5 ft
³
