Some of the changes brought by this project is the atomic bomb which help end WWII because Harry Truman decided to set off an atomic bomb in Japan as a warning trying to get them to surrender and not continue trying to attack us. He in turn ended up having to bomb another city in Japan which finally made Japan surrender because they 1. didn't want anymore deaths. 2. and because a lot more people from both cities and neighboring cities would be affected by radiation poisoning.
