Angle formed by tangents or secants =
(1)/(2)(Major arc - minor arc )

The sum of measure of arcs inany circle is 360°.

Minor arc is given as x°.So Major arc = 360-x.

Substituting the given values in the formula :


x=(1)/(2)(360-x-x)


x=(1)/(2)(360-2x)

x=180-x

Adding x both sides we have:

2x=180.

Dividing both sides by 2.x= 90.
