I like to think of the line of a fraction as a division symbol. This helps you remember that you need to divide 3 by 4 to get a decimal. Once you get a decimal number to make it a percent you multiply it by 100. (percent means per 100) 3/4= .75 multiply that by 100 and you get 75%. Notice you can also think of it as moving the decimal point two places to the left. But its always a good idea to know where these tricks come from! Hope that helps!
