By definition, the circumference of a circle is given by:
C = 2πR
Where,
R: radius of the circle.
Substituting values we have:
144π = 2πR
By clearing R we have:
R = 144/2
R = 72 units
Answer:
The radius of the circle is:
R = 72 units
