the normality of a solution prepared by dissolving 25.0g of Ca(OH)2 in water to make 250 ml solution is calculate as below

normality = molarity x number of hydrogen ions

molarity = moles/ volume in liters
moles =mass/molar mass = 25.0g/74=0.338moles

molarity =0.338 mole/ 250 x1000 =1.35M

normality = 1.35 x2 = 2.70 N
