When Anna's immune system was invaded by the s. marcescens infection, the immune system induces pro-inflammatory substance called Cytokinesis.

Explanation:

Apart from this it initiates the release of protein called as antibodies which are responsible for identification and elimination of disease causing pathogens from the body.

S. marcescens refers to gram negative bacteria which cause serious urinary as well as respiratory infections. Usually it is found in places such as hospitals, soil and water.

The immune system started to use its antibiotics to battle the infection. It also sent B-Cells to fight the infection while the T-cells kept that immune system strong. The immune system also inflamed the muscles to know where the antigens were so it knew where to kill them
