Slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Well use the two points: (-2,0) , (0,-2)
Slope = (-2 - 0) / (0 - -2)
Slope = (-2) / (2)
Slope = -1

The slope of this line is -1 because it goes down one and to the right one
