Area of a circle = 3.14 x r^2
=3.14 x 8.5^2
= 226.865

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 = 17 ÷ 2= 8.5 m

Area of circle = πr² = (3.14)(8.5)² = 226.9 m²

Answer: 226.9 m²
