The ratio of the areas of the polygon will be evaluated as follows:
area scale factor=(linear scale factor)²
linear scale factor=(length of pentagon A)/(length of polygon B)=12/28=3/7
thus:
area ratio=(3/7)²=9/49
Answer:
C. 9/49
