Answer:

B. (x + 3)^2 + (y + 2)^2 = 98

Explanation:

(x + 3)^2 + (y + 2)^2 = 98

r =(sqroot) (x − h^)2 + (y − k)^2

r =(sqroot) (4 − (−3)^2 + (5 − (−2)^2

r = (sqroot) 7^2 + 7^2

r = (sqroot) 49 + 49

r =(sqroot) 98

x^2 + y^2 = r^2

(x − (−3)^2 + (y − (−2)^2 = (sqroot) ( 98)^2

(x + 3)^2 + (y + 2)^2 = 98

1. distance = √((x₂-x₁)²+(y₂-y₁)²)= radius of the circle.

distance = √((4-(-3))²+(5-(-2))7²) = √98

2. (x-k)²+(y-h)²=r² center (-3,-2) which is (k,h)

(x-(-3))²+(y-(-2))²= (√98)²

(x+3)+(y+2)² = 98 is the equation
