Hydrocarbons with triple bonds are classified as Alkynes.

Alkynes have one or more triple bonds between two Carbon atoms but the general formula is CnH2n-2. One is σ bond and rests are π bonds. Hence, alkynes are called as unsaturated hydrocarbons.
