When performing rescue breathing be sure to always tilt the head before performing breaths. It involves the following steps; place the person on their back, tilt their chin up to open the air way, Two fingers under the chin and one hand on the forehead, tilt the head back gently and open their mouth, pitch the nose and create a seal with your mouth around the other person's mouth , and then give the person 2 small breaths first, then continue by giving one breath every 5 seconds.
