The statement is true. The Norwegian Current warms up the climate in western Norway and makes it much more milder than what would be expected for a climate in that part of the world. The Norwegian Current is the last part of the Golf Current, and it brings warmer and more saline water towards the Arctic. It makes the climate more warm in Norway and it also brings in a lot of precipitation.
