The majority of the fossils found in Indiana have been marine fossils. These include things like mollusks, coral, and clam relatives.

The existence of so many marine fossils here indicates that
A) we don't know as much as we think.
B) Indiana was once covered by the ocean.
C) a giant flood must have brought them here.
D) marine animals create fossils much more readily.

The answer is b because Indiana is close by shore and is possible that is might have been under the ocean.
