1. Plug in 3x + 11 where the Y is and solve for X.

3x + 11 - x = 23
2x = 12
x = 6

Now plug back in.

y - 6 = 23
y = 23 + 6
y = 29.

Your answer is (6, 29), option B

I can't tell what the second system of equations even is. 2x - y = 30? x - y = 30? The second equation doesn't look like it has a x-variable. It's spaced out weird. Can you just ask that in a separate question or type it in the replies?
