to find average add the heights and divide by number, do this for both cities:
city A:
63 + 60 + 70 + 66 + 70 + 73 +78 + 73 + 69 + 75 = 697
697 / 10 = 69.7
shortest is 60, tallest is 78, difference = 78 -60 = 18

city b :
67+73+75+73+69+78+76+74+72+74 = 731
731 / 10 = 73.1
shortest is 67, tallest is 78, difference = 78-67 = 11

answers:
On average, the players in City A are a few inches shorter than the players in City B.

and
