The answer is Atlas. Atlas was a titan condemned by zeus to support the heavens upon his shoulders. He was the son of Iapetus and the nymph Clymene. He was also the brother of Prometheus and Epimetheus. He was condemned by Zeus to stand at the western edge of Gaia (the Earth) and hold up the sky on his shoulders. This is because Atlas led the war against Zeus and after their defeat, this was his punishment.
