The ratio of blueberries to strawberries is 2:7. If there are 20 strawberries how many blueberries are there?

Answer: There are 60 blueberries .

Explanation:

Given : The ratio of blueberries to strawberries is 2:7

i.e.
\frac{\text{Quantity of blueberries}}{\text{Quantity of strawberries}}=\frac27

If Quantity of strawberries = 20

Then,


(x)/(210)=\frac27\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=\frac27*210\\\\\Rightarrow\ x= (2)/(7)*210\\\\\Rightarrow\ x= 60

Hence, There are 60 blueberries .
