AB is half of GJ. AB= x+11 and GJ = 2x + 5 what is AB ( also this is proven with mid segment theorem I think so yea)

ATQ,


2x+11=(2x+5)/(2)\\\\\text{Cross multiplying both sides}\\\\4x+22=2x+5\\\\4x-2x = -22+5\\\\2x=-17\\\\x=-8.5

So,

AB = x+11

= -8.5 + 11

= 2.5

Hence, the value of AB is 2.5.
