Karen has 3 pieces of ribbon that are each 2 3/4 yd long. She also has a piece of lace that is 3 1/5 yd long. Karen needs to cut the lace into 4 pieces that are all the same length to finish a sewing project. How long should each piece of lace be? A. 1 4/5 yd B. 1 1/4 yd C. 11/12 yd D. 4/5 yd

3 * 5 = 15

15 + 1 = 16
