What is the difference between volume surface area and area

The area is the same as the surface area.
The volume measures the space inside a solid shape.
The surface area is the "face" of a solid shape. The measurement of the outside of the solid shape.

Answer: Surface area is just what you can see. The outer part. The area is the whole thing. Even the inside, not just what you can see.

Surface area is the outside layer, or the uppermost part. It is what surrounds it. The area is the whole thing. Even what you cannot see.
