we have that
13.5x+m =2.7(5x-3.6)
13.5x+m =2.7*5x-2.7*3.6
13.5x+m=13.5x-9.72
if the expression (13.5x+m) is equivalent to 13.5x-9.72
then
m=-9.72
the answer is
m=-9.72
