Natural rights, also known as inalienable rights, are a focus point of the US Declaration of Independence. In the US Declaration of Independence it says that " We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happyness."

These famous words show that these rights are not given by the government or society. Rather, they are given to all men naturally.
