Volcanic activity : Density differences and other factors cause metals to concentrate in igneous rocks

Weathering : Rocks break down as they react with air and water

Hydro-thermal: Seawater heats up with contact from hot rock and metals dissolve in it. The water rises and contacts cooler water causing metal ore to settle on the ocean floor

Step-by-step explanation:

The hot molten magma present in the earth's crust is subjected to high pressure, changes in the alteration and intense heat leading to the formation of igneous rocks which comprises metal ores in them. Also the weathering process which involves disintegration of rocks into smaller pieces leading to alteration of new ores. The hydro-thermal energy also causes formation of ores. The water in the sea is warmed up when it comes in contact with hot rocks present in the floor of the ocean. This hot water contains minerals dissolved in it which when reaches the surface cools down forming ores
