Answer:

P = 76, A = 330

Explanation:

first i added all the sides up which got me 76 . then for area, i multiplied 15 times 18 and got 270. Then i multiplied 15 and 8 which then i got 120. then i divided 120 by 2 and got 60. then i added 60 and 270 which got me to 330

Answer:

P = 76 feet, A = 330 square feet

Explanation:

Look at the picture.

The perimeter:

P=18ft+17ft+8ft+18ft+15ft=76ft

The formula of an area of trapezoid:

A=(b_1+b_2)/(2)\cdot h

b₁, b₂ - bases

h - height

We have:

b_1=18ft,\ b_2=18ft+8ft=26ft,\ h=15ft

Substitute:

A=(18+26)/(2)\cdot15=(44)/(2)\cdot15=22\cdot15=330\ ft^2
