Good evening ,

Answer:

the smaller integer is 4

the larger integer is 6

4²=16

6+10=16

Explanation:

Let x be the smaller integer then the larger one is x+2

the square of the smaller integer is 10 more than the larger integer means

x² = (x+2)+10 ⇔ x² - x - 12 = 0

solve the last equation and you will get

x=4 or x=-3

since -3 is not an even integer then x=4

therefore x+2=6.
