The value of x will be -3.
The slope formula is y2-y1/x2-x1
In this case fill in using the two sets of numbers (x is still missing).
-6-1, which equals -7.
X-4, which you have to figure out mathematically.
Well in order to get a slope of 1 -7 has to be divided by itself, which is still -7.
What subtracted by 4 equals -7?
That would be -3.
