Answer and Explanation:

David Hume was a writer and a philosopher born in 1711 during an age known as the age of reason, and while people of the time believed man to be a creature of rationality, Hume differed as to humans being nothing more than animals driven by their emotions and their rationality being slave to their desires and emotion.

However, much since then has changed in the world of philosophy, people have become more sympathetic towards the idea of letting emotions and passion have forefront and dulling down racism to treat people with equality in educational institutions. This, in turn, has lead Hume’s idea not only to be more respected but much followed as well. Habib University, Pakistan’s first Liberal Arts University, is a prime example of promoting arts along with other majors in a society so bound on focusing only on Science majors disregarding the youth’s passion, interest, and emotion.

Answer:

Regarding philosophy David Hume´s ideas of impressions and ideas changed philosophy in 2019 because he outlined a separate pattern for impressions and ideas stating that ideas come from memory therefore they are not as lively and vivid as impressions are so ideas can not exist without impressions, he stated that both of them structure perception though, denying any rational belief in causation. His theory also helped clarifying philosophical terminology.

Step-by-step explanation:

David Hume was born in Scotland.

He was an Enlightenment philosopher, historian, economist, and essayist. He considered himself a moralist against the God´s teleological interpretation. Hume raised his theory about perception stating that we get the idea of time perceiving change and giving impressions and ideas a clear different pattern.

David Hume named sensibilty as “impressions” derived from our living experiences impressions and stated that ideas are only in our memory so the imagination is limited by our impressions of the vivid experiences, there could not be an idea without a previous impression. So minds are empty at the time of birth and only after impressions begin to happen, ideas are created.
