(2z - 3)° + (5z - 6)° = 180° (consecutive angles in a parallelogram are supplementary)

Solve for z

2z - 3 + 5z - 6 = 180

Add like terms

7z - 9 = 180

7z = 180 + 9 (addition property of equality)

7z = 189

Divide both sides by 7

z = 27

Find angle L:

m<L = 2z - 3

Plug in the value of z

m<L = 2(27) - 3

m<L = 54 - 3

m<L = 51°
