Answer:

Tyrant of Athens. In my own opinion he was a populist

Step-by-step explanation:

Peisistratos helper of the lower class of Athens is an early example of populism. During his reign as king of athens Peisistratos did not waste time in confronting the aristocracy, and he greatly cut down most of their privileges, seized their lands and gave them to the poor, and funded many religious and artistic programs. The main goal peisistratos seeked to achieved with his actions was to improve the state of the economy and to also ensure that the wealth was distributed or spread equally among the citizens of athens( the Athenians).

He was a notable member in Athens but did not have enough resources to take over so he injured himself and his mules and requested for bodyguards which where given to him by the poor population. With this he was able to seize power.

Peisistratids is the common term for the three tyrants who ruled in Athens from 546 to 510 BC, which is Peisistratos and his two sons, Hipparchus and Hippias.
