Given:

The graph of linear function.

To find:

The equation for the linear function.

Solution:

The slope intercept form of a linear function is

y=mx+b

where, m is slope and b is y-intercept.

From the given graph it is clear that the line has downward slope. It means, slope or value of m must be negative.

The line intersect the y-axis in positive direction of y-axis. It means, y-intercept or value of b must be positive.

From the given options, only is option (3), i.e.,
y=-2x+1, then value of m=-2 is negative and value of b=1 is positive.

Therefore, the correct option is (3).
