Why does Shakespeare begin this scene with Hamlet offering acting lessons to the players? How does this advance the plot, develop character, or help to establish theme?

Shakespeare begins the scene with hamlet offering the lessons because he wanted the actor to put the realistic acting on but all know this is really Shakespeare rather than Hamlet speaking

Step-by-step explanation:

This plot is about the ghost of the king of Denmark and then he advice his son to kill the present rule of Hamlet that was his uncle. Since his uncle was the cause of his fathers death this agitated Hamlet and he decides to kill his uncle

So his uncle fearing for his life flees to other countries and places and the play ends with the duel of Hamlet and his opponent killing themselves
