Let’s first write the equation for this

y=mx+b

Let’s now look at the y-intercept. This is where the line hits the y-axis. As you can see,this is on negative 5.

Let’s substitute that into the equation, where b goes.

y=mx-5

Now let’s look for m,the slope. We can see that it is negative, and from one point to another it goes up 4 and over 1 to the left. This makes the slope -4. Let’s substitute that into m.

y=-4x-5 which is c.
