Many things were invented, for example the printing press which helped print copies of the bible.

Many new techniques were also invented especially artistic techniques, such as perspective, shading and many more.

Scientists also discovered a lot of things like they used to believe the universe in Heliocentric (Earth is in the center of the universe) but they discovered that its actually sun-sentric.

Many new inventions were made and used which led to more conclusions that are still known and believed by the people today.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, and Enlightenment are all examples of people challenging the status quo of that time and the religious beliefs that had been established, to create a new form of thinking that supported individualism, secularism, and the idea that humans were intelligent and creative beings that could use the mind, the reason to thrive. During those periods, artistic works, scientific discoveries, social and politics ideas renovated the way things were done in the middle ages.
