While with Heat stroke (also called heatstroke, sunstroke, or sun stroke) is a life-threatening medical emergency. The most common signs and symptoms of a heat stroke include: Throbbing headache; Dizziness and light-headedness; Lack of sweating despite the heat; Red, hot, and dry skin; Muscle weakness or cramps; Nausea and vomiting; Rapid heartbeat, which may be either strong or weak; Rapid, shallow breathing; Behavioral changes such as confusion, disorientation, or staggering; Seizures; and/or Unconsciousness.

C) Heat exhaustion involves extreme sweating, while heat stroke involves a lack of sweating.

Step-by-step explanation:

Heat exhaustion is the forerunner to heatstroke and is a direct consequence of the body overheating. According to Mayo Clinic, heat exhaustion is identifiable by heavy sweating, fast pulse, dizziness, exhaustion, cool, moist skin with silly socks when in the heat, muscle cramps, nausea, and headache
